April 2015 matthNews - NAB New Product Showcase July 17, 2014 13:45

Here we go again!

We are packing it up and very anxious to get to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where some of us will sweat and use muscles we haven’t used since last year. Can&#39t wait to see our new gear set up and working, so we can then direct our enthusiasm to the many people who attend the Expo – looking for new solutions.

Trade shows are expensive – in so many ways. It takes a total team effort to make it happen – and believe it or not, after 38 consecutive NAB conventions – I still get excited.

Hope to see you there for #39. I&#39m not that old – I&#39m still a kid!

As usual – it&#39s Technology That Complements Your Imagination – at NAB 2015

Check out just some of the NEW technology MSE has to offer this year

VATOR III Series: Now in seven different configurations – from the single LoBOY through the SUPER CRANK and MEGA VATOR, MSE&#39s new line of VATOR stands are safe and low maintenance – with only two moving parts. Click here for more information.
IndieMOUNT: The perfect affordable and reliable solution for mounting smaller camera packages such as DSLRs, HD, Small ENG and Action cameras to moving vehicles. With a new &#34quick strut&#34 system, set up is fast and reliable – a way to maximize stability and safety. Click here for more information.
Freedom Car Mount Kit: With a 360 degree rotating grip head allowing for a 90 degree swivel, as your foundation, you can mount heavier cinema cameras on a car, truck, boat of any non–porous surface. Right hand adapters, quick heads, and &#34quick struts&#34 allow for fast set up and extra stability.
Brauer Hostess Tray Kit: Window up for shooting sound. Window down for fresh air. This new &#34tray&#34 will allow you to mount nearly any camera package or even a gimbal stabilization system safely – and in five minutes. With this system, the door can be opened and closed without restrictions – a real convenience for talent.
KerriKart: No more dragging around an extra cart when you add a slider to your package. Designed by Bill Kerrigan, a Montreal–based DP, this all–in–one cart allows for multiple configurations depending on load, the ability to move quickly and accommodate any size camera, lens and even monitor. Slider track is interchangeable at 4&#39,6&#39,8&#39 or even 10&#39 sections. Click here for more information.
Ricky Rods: No more cutting tube and wasting time during a shoot. These unique rod supports were designed specifically for car mount rigging, but can be used for a wide variety of applications. Highly adaptable – they can handle almost anything thrown at them – and easily work with other standard rigging hardware.
DC–Slider Upgrade: Same multifunctional camera platform. Same variable–angled camera slider track. Same precise engineering and counterbalancing feature – with an extra kick. It can now handle much larger cameras, without any compromises. Get it new – or purchase the upgrade kit for your own FloatCam DC–Slider.

FloatCam Pan/Tilt Head: Matthews Studio Equipment is sneaking you a look at something special at NAB 2015. It&#39s the concept prototype of a new pan/tilt head from FloatCam. This addition to the FloatCam system will allow you to program and rotate your camera along two axes with the synchronized linear motion of the slider.

We are at Booth C5437 Central Hall.
